The Fruitland FORCE management team is offering an “open-clinic” to any player wishing to improve their baseball skills for the upcoming spring season. Training sessions will be held every Friday from January 10th – March 14th from 6pm-8pm at the Crown Indoor Sports Complex. The cost will be $65 per player for 10 weeks and includes an end of the year pizza party. So bring your child (and invite a friend) out for some fun and training!

Old Man Winter Won’t Be FORCING us out!
Coach Bill is extremely excited to announce he has secured a winter training facility for all FORCE players! This new practice facility is located in Laurel, DE. on Gordy Road.
During our winter training, we will be focusing on the conditioning and improvement of the skill set of the individual. Once at the facility, FORCE Coaches have multiple areas they will have available to them including batting cages, soft-toss nets, pitching areas, an infield setup and a small outdoor field. In addition to that, another building located right next door offers a full cinema wall screen for cardio workouts, light weight training/conditioning (for the older boys) and an area for verbal tutorials.
No matter what position your child plays, Coach Bill has a station and instruction that will keep him warmed-up throughout this cold winter.
The cost for this training is only $50 dollars per player and includes training from now until the end of March.
The address is: 32577 Gordy Road (make right on Gordy Road off Route 13 before you get to Laurel and the chicken house is about a mile down on the left)
Training will be held on Saturdays – Nov.23rd, Dec. 7th, Dec.14th, Dec.21st, January 11th and every Saturday until the end of March .
Practice time slots:
8 and 9 year olds – 12pm to 2pm
11 and 12 year olds – 2pm to 4pm
10, 13 and 15 year olds – 4pm to 6pm
*If you cannot make the slotted time no problem, just let Coach Bill know and you can come at a different time slot.
Despite the chilly weather, the FORCE family turned out on Saturday to celebrate an awesome 2013 season – cookout style! Prior to eating, the players competed in some friendly touch-football games (helping to burn some Saturday energy). Meanwhile, Coach Bill cooked hamburgers, hot dogs and chicken fingers to add to the many dishes brought by the FORCE parents.
The afternoon ended with Coach Bill recognizing the people that help the FORCE organization operate.
The truth is, without Bill Atkinson and his enormous Heart (and Mind), this organization simply wouldn’t exist. He sacrifices countless hours, tons of energy, family time and personal finances to give these players an opportunity to participate in competitive, year-round baseball. Thank you Coach Bill for all you do!
Coach Bill will be hosting a BBQ for all his FORCE teams & families on…
SATURDAY 11/ 9
3 – 5 PM
ACROSS FROM FLL
He will be supplying the dogs and burgers and asking for you to bring a side dish. Your side dish doesn’t have to feed an army, just enough for your family. At the last BBQ we had a ton of food left over and trying to not make the same mistake twice!
So come on out and join the fun!
Coach Bill wants to see you there!
Are you ready to cheer on your favorite baseball team and show your team spirit??? Here is your chance to order your FORCE FAN apparel!!! The Force needs some assistance in planning the FORCE BBQ, being held NOV. 9th, and we are reaching out to you! We need someone to be our “search & find” person for the BBQ’s location (free/low cost & able to hold around 175-250 people). If you are willing to help with this task please email me us at firstname.lastname@example.org
